This notice explains how Samita Limited (“Samita”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit this website, contact us, or work with us.
Who we are

This website
This website does not use cookies and has no forms. It does not track you across other websites.
To understand how the site is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. It records, in aggregate, the pages viewed, the website that referred you, your browser and device type, and your country. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Apart from this analytics script, the site loads no content from other websites.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information about each visit, such as your IP address and browser details, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this information to identify you.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your name, email address, the content of your message, and any details you choose to share. We use this to reply and, if you wish, to discuss working together.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Clients and business contacts
When we work with a client, or with a partner on a client’s behalf, we process the business contact details of the people involved and the information needed to deliver the engagement. Our legal bases are performing our contract, our legitimate interests in running our business, and complying with legal obligations such as keeping accounting records.
Who we share data with
- Service providers who support our business, such as our email provider (Google Workspace) and our website host (Cloudflare). They act on our instructions.
- Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- A bank, payment provider or other third party, only when you have asked us to make an introduction.
- Public authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for marketing lists.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside Gibraltar. Where they do, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. We keep business and accounting records for the periods required by Gibraltar law, and then delete them.
Your rights
Under data protection law in Gibraltar, you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can also object to our use of it, or ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation. To make a request, email hello@samita.ltd.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, which supervises data protection in Gibraltar (www.gra.gi). We would welcome the chance to address your concern first.
